Corvalian loved the idea and I have a feeling that we might see more from him on Game-Art-HQ in the future! Just like the one about Groose from Skyward Sword, it was drawn and shared online during the development of our project and when I saw it, I thought it looked damn fine and should be included. The image to the right was not a direct submission to Link’s Friendlist. In December, Kurama-Chan,who also drew one of the Sheik illustrations for the Friendlist, asked if Ravio could be included.Īnd sure, why not add this fun new guy? 🙂 We started the project back in October 2013 when the game was not yet released and Ravio was not known yet. Ravio was originally not planned to be a part of Link’s Friendlist. While he did not confront them by himself, he searched for a worthy hero in Hyrule and found…Link! He is from Lorule and served Princess Hilda before they decided to take the Hyrulean Triforce. Ravio plays an important role in A Link Between Worlds since he can sell Link items he needs to conquer the Dungeons in any order.
In the game there are enemies from the classic Zelda game and there is also Ravio.a new guy, but also basically a cameo of the “Rabbit Form” of Link when he enters the Dark World for the first time in Zelda ALTTP. It has been dismissed as an unintentional coincidence of the development teams working close together.Ravio is one of the new supportive characters from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, the 3DS Zelda which plays in the same Hyrule from Zelda 3: A Link To The Past many years before.
Instead, he traveled to Hyrule in the hope of finding someone who could take on the pair. He learned of Princess Hilda's plan to work with Yuga to steal Hyrule's Triforce but, he was too afraid to do anything directly. He is originally Link's counterpart in Lorule.
Towards the end of the game, Ravio reveals his true identity. When he returns home, he discovers that Ravio has turned his house into an rental item shop. Link discovers a sign outside the Eastern Palace and learns of an item being opened south of the castle. Link encounters Ravio soon after encountering Yuga when he discovers an unexpected guest in his house. It is shown that he looks just like Link except with dark purple hair and green eyes. He also wears a blue and black striped scarf.Īt the end of the game, he removes his mask and reveals his face to Link. Beneath his tunic, he wears leather boots and vermillion leggings. He wears a purple bunny hood that hides his face, and an ankle-length purple tunic, tied together by a brown belt embedded with a green Rupee. Ravio is a young man, the same age as Link.
